Co-working

While Co-working is included in all PlayCare packages, we also have Co-working ONLY packages available!

“Work” is up to personal interpretation here: find your own space on-site to focus on whatever you need, whether that is taking a meeting, taking a nap, or taking a breath. This is a judgement-free space to show up as you are and take care of whatever you need.

When you are here, you are welcome.

We envision our Coworkers to be a beautiful mix of: Students, Parents-in-waiting, Grandparents, Artists, Empty-nesters, flexible professionals, hobbiests and parents.

Coworking Packages include:

Access to our family-friendly co-workspaces for one adult during open hours.

We are currently set up with mostly open workspace and limited private phonecall/workspace options.

While coworking is available beyond our PlayCare hours, we are not a 24/7 facility.

You can choose between part-time and “full-time” coworking based on your approximate usage. Right now, our “full-time” coworking packages cover up to 30 hours/week.

Because of these factors, our Coworking packages are priced very low compared to what is available on the local market. Plus, our sliding scale applies to all services that we offer!

  • Private workspace is not guaranteed, and we operate on a limited schedule.

    However, we are in the process of looking for new space, with more dedicated private workspaces, and the potential for private office rentals….

  • Why “Coworking ONLY” packages? Because - all Work & Play (“PlayCare”) packages include at least SOME amount of Coworking, folded into their price.

    If you don’t have children, or you won’t have children regularly in care but you’d still like to be connected to families and have access to workspace that isn’t your home, Coworking ONLY packages are a great fit!

  • We offer a self-assessed sliding scale to all of our members, with 5 different access points. Our sliding scale is informed by your personal experience, financial circumstances and historical marginalization.

    Our base Coworking Packages cost:

    $135/month (full-time)

    and

    $74/month (part-time)

  • We don’t currently require any commitment beyond the month a package is purchase for, however that will change as we continue to grow and find a more permanent space.

    In our next phase: In order to ensure that we can afford to pay our staff a competitive rate while we maintain a safe, comfortable environment for our families, we will request that:

    1. Package holders commit to at least 3 months at a package size & rate.

    2. If you need to downgrade or pause your package for a month (vacations happen! so do financial circumstances! also, kids age!) or cancel, you are required to give 3 weeks notice. All packages renew on the 1st of the month.

    You may request to upgrade your package rate or package size at any time.

    You are welcome to subscribe to a package for a longer period to guarantee your care!

  • Add-On Packages can be added to to active Coworking OR Playcare package.

    You can:

    Add suplemental PlayCare hours to your package.

    Add-on PlayCare packages are good for THREE MONTHS! Which means they are our most flexible childcare option. Any unused Package hours roll over to the second and third month. Just like PlayCare packages, expiration dates are attached to month-end and not purchase date.

    Add full-time Coworker(s) to your package

    Add-a-Coworker packages apply to any adults (18+) in your household and are good for the calendar month they are purchased for.
